About Youth on Fire Inc.
Youth on Fire Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Hartford, Connecticut, founded by visionary advocate and creative director Stephan Palmer. We are dedicated to igniting purpose, healing, and hope in the lives of youth and families across the state—especially those navigating trauma, separation, and systemic barriers.
Our mission is twofold:
• To empower youth through mentorship, emotional support, and community engagement
• To uplift fathers through holistic development, relationship restoration, and advocacy

Community Outreach & Events
We serve our community through dynamic, year-round programming that brings families together and fosters emotional resilience:
• Back-to-School Giveaway – Providing children with essential supplies, encouragement, and a strong start to the school year

Fatherhood Program
Our Fatherhood Initiative is a cornerstone of our healing work—designed to help fathers rebuild from the inside out. We offer:
• Self-development workshops focused on emotional literacy, spiritual clarity, and personal growth
• Relationship restoration support to help fathers reconnect with their children and co-parents
• Job readiness training, including résumé writing, cover letter development, and interview preparation
• Legal literacy sessions to help fathers understand court documents, navigate custody processes, and advocate for their rights
